Thalia Koutroumanidou and Maria Tsiartsiani try to return the ball during their beach volleyball match against South African pair Judith Augoustides and Vitalina Nel at the Beijing Olympics yesterday. The Greek pair won the match at Chaoyang Park 2-0 (21-12, 21-8) and have hopes of making the quarterfinals despite a loss in their first match.

Many countries have disappointing results. China and USA have really gobbled up the medals in the 1st week!
