For me who don't watch at all sports, I have waited 4 years for the Athens Olympics. It was a dream come true. And well, I have waited 4 years for the Beijing Olympics, and they are coming soon.

This is a very nice video. Only the Greeks understand what means the Olympic spirit. I know the Chinese feel so honored to host the Olympics and they are doing everything to show that. It is too bad that the torch relays in China are not more shown to us by the media, it would have shown the exhuberant joy of the Chinese people.

Does anyone know if the Greek athletes arrived in Beijing for the Olympics? I cannot find any info on that.

Living in Melbourne is like been in Beijing as for the Chinese here they are looking forward for the games as much as the Hellenes were and as for the Greek precinct been a small block away from China town they let there admiration's for the games and anything Greek (my self inclusive )be known p.s. as for our athletes they must be in hiding AGAIN lols

It's good that China is the country taking the Olympics after Greece. The two nations that have the greatest civilizations of the world in my opinion.

Really, I heard on sports radio that a small number of Greek athletes arrived at Beijing, but they are still a lot in Greece that will travel there. I don't know which athletes and of which sports are the ones already there.

I always look forward to them. I always like the fact that Greece leads in the parade of nations and the fact the Greek flies between the current host flag and next host flag!
Its worth watching just for those scenes because despite the negative press Hellas gets from the NWO media, they cannot take away the fact that Greeks invented the Olympics!

Phoenix, so you can watch the Games with little time delay then, that is nice. I have to check what times they will air in Canada.

Napalm, yeah, I really like the Opening (and Closing) Ceremonies me too. Can't remember, did the Greek athletes go first and last in the Athens Olympics? I think so, last is for the host. I liked both Ceremonies in Athens. The Beijing Opening Ceremony is expected to be good too, I am looking forward to it.

The official settling of the Greek athletes in the Olympic village took place today, so now all the Greek athletes are in China, one day before the opening ceremony.

This is stunning, guys, if you have not watched the Opening Ceremony, try to watch it if you can tonight when they show it again on TV.

That was an amazing opening ceremony that the Chinese did. Very cinematic and intimidating aswell. I liked it a lot.
