Yeah they played bad. I agree with angelo we deserved to lose. So many good opportunites blown by not passing.

This was expected. The first half's attitude had to change if we would want to take something from this game. And it did not change, the same unsureness in the field continued and the defense couldn't stand more. After the first goal of Sweden the team sobered up a bit, but it was late, and the second goal just followed.

I am really surprised from the fear Greece expressed in that game, from the first moment. If this game would happen before Euro 2004, when Greece was a team with low forwarderness and not much expectations OK, but now? The players were so stressful and had no daring. I don't know if the reason for this was that Rehhagel overestimated Sweden, but this fear was more than evident.

Czech Republic - Portugal 1-3
Switzlerland - Turkey 1-2

Portugal secured qualification to the next round. The second qualifying spot will be played in the 3rd game between Czech Republic and Turkey.

Croatia qualifies to the next round. Everything is open for the second place.

Netherlands - France 4-1

Netherlands already qualified to the next round. Everything is open for the second place.

Netherlands are now probably the favorite to win the title. After their easy 3-0 against world champions Italy, the impressed again with a 4-1 against world finalists France and qualified to the quarter finals. What is left is to see if they will continue these performances.
