Your sport?

Which is your favourite sport? The one you like to watch more, the one you follow in a normal basis.

Mine is football, I watch almost every game of Panathinaikos or Greece. Sometimes I watch basketball too, rarely though. I don't watch any other sports in a normal basis, except in special occasions like the Olympics.

I'd watch a lot of basketball, if it was more European style of play, with more Europeans (I can't get into the American "thuggery" aspect of it which prevades in most American teams).

American football is fun to watch once in a while.

But my favorite is yes, that weird sport known as baseball.

There are some good Greek pro baseball players too. I guess a big part of it is being raised in the US.

I remember in the Olympics of 2004, when Greece had to form a baseball national team for the first time (as a host we should have representative almost in every sport). Since none in Greece plays baseball, they called players of Greek descent from the USA and they formed the team. So the Olympics were the only time I sat down to watch baseball - I could not stand it more than 2 minutes before I changed the channel.

The pacing is much different from other sports. The action isn't constant. Its an acquired taste.

I don't know how anyone can watch baseball. I tried, I really have tried and I just cannot. It is the most boring thing ever invented.

You sit there watching the TV just to watch these disfigured "athletes" spit and scratch themselves? You ever see the players sitting in the dugout? They're eating dinner, sleeping, talking, they're not even watching it LOL
