Documentary about a unique place which cannot be found on a map – Shutka, the alleged world capital of the Roma.

Shutka is a town of superlatives. Everyone proclaims himself a champion at something. Who is the best at protecting the community from evil spirits? Who is the most talented singer in town? Meet the lamb champion for the last 35 years. And heres the champion in boxing, the best dressed and the greatest lover. They all star in Aleksandar Manic's unique film about Shutka, Fyrom, where the largest Roma community in the Balkans, possibly in the world, resides.

The Shutka Book of Records captures the idiosyncrasies of the Roma culture, revealing the humour and feistiness of the strange and endearing characters of this extraordinary town.

The most obscure pursuits such as hunting vampires, training geese to fight, and collecting hard-to-find cassettes of Turkish music are all fair game in the townspeople's constant quest for one-upmanship. Anyone can make a child, but not a champion pigeon.

Fazli, the first character to be introduced, is most powerful dervish in the world. "If it's iron, we can turn it into gold," he says. "If it's a cucumber, we can turn it into a living being." He also promises the people of Shutka they can travel to American without a visa – via dematerialisation and materialisation. He invites the whole world, the BBC, CNN to come and film real ghosts, to call him on his home phone number in Shutka.

So as we can see from the above it appears the Skopians are made up of Albanians and Gypsies, but there is a third element that I found called the "Boxheads" which I don't have much to go on yet. See the YOUTUBE film below between 1.37 and 1.44 mins,

Anyway you can't watch the full film as you can only watch the film on CH4 if you live in the UK but you can see parts from the film on the YOUTUBE clips I posted above.
