OK I see. I use quote in these terms as they are just what these persons call their selves.

I would characterize them as anarchofascist anti-patriot globalists. A lot of people consider anarchy and fascism the two opposites but actually they are very close. If you see what I mean.

They have images of Kapodistrias, Bouboulina and so on claiming they were Albanians but because they were Greek Orthodox they kept a Greek presence lol.
For those that do not Kapodistrias was officialy the first Greek president in 1828. He was murdered in 1831 October 9. Read more

In the above video, they have taken all the paintings from our heroes and the Greek Revolution 1821 and they present them as Albanians because of they wear fustanella. Albanians claim that fustanella is an albanian cloth and we have stolen it from them.

Albanians have an Illyrian backround who lived in the region but what about the Albanians from Caucasus who came to modern Albania in the 11th century I think. You should know that Albanians' main ethnic groups are Ghegs and Tosks. Ghegs are the northern Albanians who look like people from central Europe and they speak a different dialect from Tosks who are the southern Albanians and look like us. It's very possible that Tosks are albanized Greeks or come from Greeks mainly with some albanian admixture.

Arvanites say that they're native in Greece and they speak the ancient pelasgian language along with greek. It's possible that Arvanites were albanized Greeks from northern Epirus who came to southern during the Byzantine times and they spoke arvanitic which was relative to the albanian language. It's interesting that the Tosks can easily talk with Arvanites while Ghegs not. Is it just a coincidence? Maybe Arvanites were people from Greco-Illyrian descent (Greeks and Illyrians were related nations). Whoever the Arvanites are, they deny any connection with Albanians and even if they were not Greeks they have been assimilated genetically through the intermarriage with Greeks so their descendants after so many centuries cannot be distinguished genetically.

Albanians are definately not Illyrians. The Illyrians dissapeared centuries before their was even mention of an Albanian.

As for the Arvanites its possible they might have some Albanian admixture but very minimal to say that they are not Greek. I got this little piece of info off

The Albanians and Arvanites are two totally different people, with a probable connection due to intermixing but totally different and should by no means be considered as one.

The Arvanites were a Hellinic race of people from the area of Epirus, their very name comes from the ancient Hellinic district of Arvonos.
In the letter of Jacomo Barbarrigo towards the Germans in 1479 where he mentions:
"The Arvanites and the Hellines are nothing more than the same people that hate every foreigner"

and the Venetian Senate in 1471 that declared :

"The major part of our mercenary troops are Hellines and Arvanites Hellines"

Nations do not disappear.They just go on changing slightly or significantly or get assimilated by other nations. Even if Albanians and Illlyrians were different, the latter got assimilated by Albanians.

Lets say for arguments sake you were right how many Illirians do you think were actually left in that region? If you were to say that the Illyrians got assimilated with the Bulgarians I would say that is highly possible considering the Bulgarians arrived in that region way before any Albanian did. I also believe that Albanians are not related to Illirians either. There is a big empty time gap between the last mention of Illirians and the Albanians. Also their are historians who do not support that theory.
