I personally (like most) don't want our word Macedonia anywhere in their "country's" name.

As long as you expect suggestions from so-called mediators like Nimitz, it is sure that the word Macedonia will be included in the name. This is something the great majority of the Greeks are against with, but the government keeps dispising it in a provocative way.

I don't like it either.

BUT

It is (in my opinion) an acceptable solution.

Not to mention 'Republic of Northern Macedonia' was the Greek governments idea.

Doesn't really matter anyway... I don't believe this tiny republic will stand the test of time. The 21st century is going to feature some terrible wars.

Greece, Serbia and Bulgaria will likely annexe the territories under some future circumstance.

But who knows.

For the record,

Mathew Nimetz is just a negotiator who acts as a link between us Greeks and the Fyvromians.
His job is to transport said or mentioned suggestions, offer his oppinion and he is no position to create one.

Δυστυχως τα βρομόσκυλα, technically are able to use the word "Macedonia" for the simple reason that they reside in the smaller part of it and not because some mistake was made by anyone now or in the past.
All parties in Greece unanimously agree on that.

Their new name will be accepted and become formal only after it is presented in our parliament, evaluated, voted and signed by our president.

Which hopefully it does not happen but for some strange reason I think it will go through.
