France grounds its stand to back Greece in Macedonia name dispute

Skopje. France does not consider the violence during the general elections in Macedonia as democracy and does not encourage the new EU presidency to assist the country on its way to the EU’, a high-ranking representative of the cabinet of France’s President Nicolas Sarkozy said before journalists from the EU member states and candidate member states at the on the eve of France taking on the EU presidency, Macedonian Dnevnik newspaper writes on Wednesday.
‘The elections in Macedonia were too brutal’ he added, grounding its stand on the reports of the international and local observers. In his world, this kind of democracy is the major reason for France to back Greece in the name dispute.

Thats good news but I still wonder why the news agencies continue to insult the Greeks by refering to the Skopjian people as Macedonian?
