Turkish members of the Greek Parliament (disgraceful video)
The following article appeared in the "Proto Thema" newspaper and the video in the official web-site of the newspaper. All the rest Greek media (TV and radio stations, newspapers, web-sites) completely ignored this very serious issue.
Cetin Madadji and Orhan Hadji Ibrahim were two candidates of PASOK and ND who belong in the Turkish minority of Thrace. My personal opinion is that Turks have to be represented in the Parliament as they are almost 30% of the population in the areas of Xanthi and Rhodope. But these two candidates are openly participating in meetings when Turkish nationalist and extragovernmental organizations are involved, and they have the secession of Thrace as their main purpose!
According to the article, the day before the elections, hundreds of busses came from Turkey filled with Turks who were presented as "diaspora Greeks" and they all participated in the elections voting for these candidates! After this, both of these members came first in votes in Xanthi and Rhodope, and they will be in the Parliament!
ND and PASOK have Turkish members who are openly against Greece, who are using insultive words for the Greeks, who want the annexation of Western Thrace to Turkey, and these members want to be represented in the Parliament! We had the incident with Ilhan Ahmed last year and now we have this incident and there is no reaction from ND and PASOK!! Can you imagine the opposite thing happening in Turkey? What the reactions would be?

"Proto Thema" is a high selling newspaper, so I hope this issue is not going to be ignored.

Hi folks
I must say this is Greece the country that I love so much. This is disgusting, Turks being voted by Turks in Greece.... What the f**** is this world coming to.

The thousands of Turks who came with busses were Turks who descent from Western Thrace, but they are living in Turkey today. Therefore they were included in the electoral lists. So they could easily present them as "diaspora Greeks".
Right now we have 2 Turks in the Parliament, one for PASOK and one for ND. They are the ones in the video. FORTUNATELY Ilhan Ahmed did not gather enough votes to enter the Parliament. Euripides Stylianides passed him with a few hundreds of votes. If Ilhan was first, he would enter the Parliament and Stylianides would be out. So ND would have 152 seats, 2 of them being Turkish. You can understand what this means: They would able to control the government in many occasions, as without these 2 seats ND would not have a majority.

This is a common theme for Greece and now the new Balkan EU members (Bulgaria & Romania). A couple of months ago, Bulgaria had elections and there were Turks who commuted to Bulgaria from Turkey, who have been living in Turkey for at least a generation, but even the state helped commute the expatriates to Bulgaria, cause MEPs (Memebers of European Parliament) were being elected as well. Can you see the big picture here - having ethnic Turks officially representing Bulgaria but working on Turkey's accession in the EU.
The seeds are sown in Europe, and many ethnic muslims in the EU, will exploit the system to become powerful without no one looking who is sponosoring them.
Kosovo is just the start, FYR Macedonia North & Eastern regions are already under KLA control, FYRM police authorities have been warned not to enter certain regions or will be shot, while villages are draped with Alabanian flags.
Al-Quaida operatives are working in this region even the main man Oasama has paid a visit to Kosovo-Bosnia, while at the present time Saudi Arabian money is thrown in this region to build mosques and accompanying them are radical clerics who preach Wahhabism - the most extreme form of islam.
So why aren't the great almighty powers doing anything?? Well, you did see Dubya visit Kosovo and was greeted as a liberator - it was the most positive image that was generated from all the other wars that the US is involved in.
There has been a trade off, Balkans to be left alone by the US for Middle Eastern countries to exert their influence, for Iraq and Afghanistan to be supported by ME countries, and for the US to cash in on the oil reserves in Iraq and Afghanistan as a conduit to supply the resource in Asian countries.

This is why Greece's foreign policy has failed against Turkey, has lost the name Macedonia to a 3rd world country which is 1/3 Albanian, and now banking on the EU constitution to put these countries in-line :mpa: Yep - Another Failure.

No offense, but this sounds like a funny theory to me.
The "almighty powers" aren't doing everything? To be more specific, the one you are referring to as "almighty POWER". Who is behind all this instability in the Balkans? The Middle Eastern? An independent organization of Arab guerillas as the Australian media tell you?

No it's happening and the "almighty POWER" is the same one that bombed the serbs of Kosovo

I did not say anything opposite. I just feel a bit bothered when I see people ignoring the role of USA in the Balkans. They are the same people who consider USA the "world's cop" and believe that what USA is doing in Afghanistan and Iraq is a "war against terror".

Let's not continue this here, it is off-topic.
I'm not sure if you read all my post, but my whole comment was based on the US involvement in the Balkans. America's foreign policy is the world's police (in there eyes anyway) because, no one can deter their military power and strategic bases in the world.
NATO operations in Kosovo and the existing KFOR installations would not exist if it wasn't for the US. But like i mentioned in my previous post, the Kosovo liberation for Albanians is a positive public relations for the current US administration - by demonising the past Serb leaders and the military, without disclosing any atrocities that were performed by the Albanians and even now, KFOR military leaders cannot vent their frustration with the civil unrest that occurs between the two ethnic groups. Their mission was to protect the Albanians from the Serbs, but quickly realise it is the other way around. Do we hear anything about Kosovo civil unrest?? Why is there so much silence?? Where is the Greek government to raise these concerns in the EU?
Like i said previously, the Greek foreign policy has failed in the past by trying to use the UN to appease Turkey, now it is trying to use the EU (which has a soft bark & no bite), stratigicly using Cyprus to oppose Turkey, while Greece takes a back seat positively endorses Turkey's accession as well as trying to convince FYRM to drop Macedonia, when most countries recognise it as the Republic of Macedonia - Greece has lost this.
