What do you think of the Greek government?

I pretty much think that they are slowly but surely sending Greece to hell. They are trying to make Greece like the West and the United States which would have terrible consequences for a small country like Greece. What Greece needs is someone who actually gives a rats ass about the Greek people and put an end to this Westernization. This is only my opinion.

Westernization is a process that happens everywhere and it is not depended on the goverment.

Obviously they are better compared to PASOK, but they dissapointed me in many things where I expected an improvement.

I have to say that they are making a serious effort to hit corruption in many aspects. Alogoskoufis is also doing a good job in economy as the deficit is decreased and the development rate is increased.

They dissapointed me in national issues and with their desperate effort to turn Greece into a "multi-cultural society", trying to convince us that this has more positives than negatives. As for the national issues, especially since Dora became a minister the way the way they face the Cypriot issue, the Aegean issue and the Skopian issue is pathetic. In this sector they have no different policy than PASOK.

Prokomenos I am not sure what do you mean with Westernization. If you mean the conversion of Greece to what you call in the West a "multi-cultural society" then I agree with you as my previous sentences indicated. If you mean modernization I am not against it, because it is proved that modernization can combine with tradition. The situation in today's Greece proves it. Unfortunately some politicians are trying to convince us that modernization means to forget tradition but this is not true and I hope we all realise this.

Unfortunately about the national issues all the goverments suck because they are afraid of defending strongly the greek claims. But in general ND is more reliable than PASOK, I think.

From what hear ND is pretty much telling them all to come on in. Arent they also the ones that approved of the mosque to be build in Athens?

Yes ND is following the same policies with PASOK on immigration. Like it happens with the national issues and the "multicultural conversion" of Greece.

You should understand something. The policy of each party is almost the same in many issues. The mosque will be built even if LAOS is the government because this is the policy of EU (respect all the minorities) and each national government of a member of the EU should follow it. The same about the immigrants but I think that Karamanlis had said that he would try to limit the influx of immigrants and he is doing exactly the opposite by legalizing such an amount. It's like an invitation to them.. Come to Greece and in some years you're be legal.
