This is a song I particularly like. It brings back many good memories of Home. I know Tom Jones from since I was a kid because we used to have him on black-and-white TV once a week. A favorite singer of mine.

Elvis also sang this song. I like both his and Tom's versions.

1968 - It was the year of the Aloha from Hawaii Concert for Elvis, a worlwide event that was broadcast first in South-East Asia and then Europe and North America. Yet, I have absolutely no memory of it. I did not even know the existence of Elvis at that time. Might have seen him but did not probably realize his importance. (sigh)

I remember Tom Jones as a kid. Not really my cup of tea but that song was a decent one.
