One thing I have never heard of a this woman. Second do you think its possible that he is choosing a lady just to gain votes? You know what I mean don't you gorgona? Its could be a way to gain popularity with women around the US.

I think the only reason he chose her is to gain female votes. But in choosing someone with so little experience (She has only been governor of Alaska for two years, and before that she was on the city council of some little town.), he’s thrown away his argument that Obama is inexperienced.

I read an article on her months ago, and she has a consistently high approval-rating in Alaska. I guess we’ll learn a lot more about her in the next few days.

Who knows? The first woman vice president of the US could be a republican. Let’s just hope that all involved have the good of country at heart. I know. I know! But I can wish, can’t I?

That would be interesting to see a woman fill in a position like that.

Clearly a ploy to try to grab hillary voters. From McCains perspective though he won't be able to pick on Obama for being inexperienced by picking her now.
I think this could be bad for foreign policy in general. The VP is one of the few top ranking politicians who could make a counter argument to any major policy. If she knows nothing she will just be defering to the neo-cons.

I found it interesting that she is incredible pro-life. I wonder how here view on Republican healthcare policies will be affected since she has a kid with expensive Down's syndrome.
The thing i won't want to miss is the VPs debate.

She's very right wing pro-life and pro-NRA. She has 5 kids and her last kid had some serious illness and she knew about it and yet she didn't abort the fetus. She supported the war in Iraq etc. McCain is not a real conservative and with this choice he wanted to show the true right wingers that he's really on their side.
