Turkey And Pakistan To Perform Joint Military Exercise

Published: 4/12/2008

ANKARA - Turkey and Pakistan will conduct a joint military exercise between April 19th and 30th.
The "Indus Vipers 2008" military exercise will be staged at an air base in Sargodha, Pakistan, Turkey's Air Forces Command said on its website on Saturday.

The command also said Turkey will join with 5 F-16 jets and 49 personnel in the exercise.

The exercise aims to boost cooperation between Turkish and Pakistani air forces.

Re: Turkey And Pakistan To Perform Joint Military Exercise

This could backfire against the Turks since plenty of people in the US want to see Pakistan bombed.

Also I hope then that Pakistan and India go to conventional war and bring Turkey into it. I believe India's military is superior to their two countries combined. The recent declaration of Kosovo has really pi$$ed off India as India sees Kashmirs take over by the muslims as identical to that of what happened to Serbia.

Re: Turkey And Pakistan To Perform Joint Military Exercise

Don't forget previous Paki/Turco co-operation ie.

The first allegation of a Turkey/Pakistan nuclear connection was in 1981. The current Turkish ambassador to Canada, Omer Ersun (then Chief of Policy Planning at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the military junta) has confirmed that the US administration protested a $30,000 shipment of "inverters" from a Turkish textiles firm to Pakistan, allegedly for use in the Pakistani uranium enrichment program.

Relations between Turkey and Pakistan became increasingly close after the military coup in Turkey on September 12, 1980. The respective military leaders of Turkey and Pakistan, President/General Kenan Evren, and President/General Zia ul-Haq exchanged a series of official visits that only ended with Zia's 1988 death in a plane crash. In the early 1980s, Greek Prime Minister Papandreou charged that "Pakistan expected Turkey to act as a transshipper of material for a nuclear bomb and would reciprocate by proudly sharing the nuclear bomb technology with Turkey".

In 1995, a Greek foreign ministry official, Thanos Dokos repeated concerns about "nuclear cooperation between Ankara and Islamabad... and reports that Turkey might try to acquire nuclear weapons material and technology and recruit nuclear scientists from the Muslim republics of the former Soviet Union."

Re: Turkey And Pakistan To Perform Joint Military Exercise

It will never be known how on earth the muslim dregs of Pakistan entered Greece and settled in our country. Abject treachery in the inner sanctum of government. Not only that, more of them are coming in through the "family reunification scam" . It is an enigmatic riddle how these filthy asian refuse have filtered through and are still doing so. There are sections in Athens which have been turned into Asian zones, dirty and insalubrious. Absolutely ridiculous. But the government is in deep love with every invasion group or alien settler movement; from Africans, arabs, asians and every other odd assortment of humanity that can be found. They make every effort , at the expense of us Greeks, to make them feel comfrotable and easier for them to lay down roots.
