Actually during the Independance War ALL the Turks in Tripolis were KILLED Women and Children! We where so bad at times that the British got pissed at us! Also I throw my lot with Jews! At least the Jews don't force people to convert on pain of death like the Muslims and Arabs!
I don't deny it. Many Slavs were also slaughtered in Greece during the last centuries. I don't say that Greeks never slaughter people, but the times they did it was when they had no other choice in order to defend the homeland Hellas or to keep Hellenism and the Hellenic race alive - Greeks used violence only when they were forced to for saving their selves. They never commited systematic and massive genocides for imperialist and similar reasons like many other nations did and are doing. It isn't the same, at least that's my opinion. As for the myths about the genocides commited by Greeks against Asians during Alexander's compaign, they aren't something more than myths.

The purpose and goal of the Hellenic Army nowadays sums it up: Defend and keep safe Hellas, Orthodoxy and the Hellenes.

How was that being bad??? If the Turks wanted to survive they could have just LEFT!! What were they doing there in the first place? The Greeks were forced to fight for their independence, anything goes when it comes to that.

You are going to tell me that Americans are normal people, sacrifizing a part of their young generation and sawing heads of women and children off while starting unreasonable wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Serbia for a sake of petroleum and the Zionist or NWO interest?

Even if they are stupid or abnormal, such "people cleansing" mentalities are not Greek. By proposing them you are insulting Hellenism and all its ideals and morales. You can see that Greeks were victims of numerous genocides, but they never commited one. I would not care that much if I would hear them from the mouth from someone else than hearing them from mouths of people who are of Greek descent.
No one proposed we cleanse them, only that it's good that they cleanse each other.

OK my statment was meant to prove that we Greeks are not so civilized! We used to kill each other in the past for Christ's sake! Also remeber the Trojan Horse? I feel that what happened in the our War of Independance WAS JUSTIFIED! I believe what make us civilzed is OUR culture, Philosophy and mentality!
I feel that we SHOULD not be so sympathetic to the Arabs! They blow each other every day so no reason!

Greeks are the creators of civilization. Any notable or worthwhile one anyhow. As for the the Trojan horse if you believe that it happened then you know it too was justified. You need to read about the other races and cultures around the Greeks in those ancient times. You will see what uncivilized really means. And you will see that the Greeks have never been uncivilized.

Are you saying that Paris running off with Menelaus' wife merited the destruction of Troy, the killing off of its men and enslavement of its women and children?
