French Elections

Sarkozy and Royal pass on to 2nd round

Nicolas Sarkozy and Segolene Royal finished first and second in Sunday's first round of the French presidential election, according to first estimates by TF 1 television, based on figures provided by TNS-Sofres. Sarkozy, the candidate of the centre-right Union for a Popular Movement (UMP), and the Socialist Party's Royal will square off on May 6 to determine who will head the French state for the next five years.

Re: French Elections

I give them about 10 years and you will see a Muslim President running that country. I cant stand the French and I would love to see them the Muslims really control and outnumber the actuall French people in France. I hear they have one of the largest Muslim population in Europe.

Good that is what they deserve. They are the ones who vote for their politicians who welcome them into their lands. Those riots that happen a couple of years ago will happen again with more numbers. The only savior for that country was Lepen.

Sarkozy supposdly has taken a strong stance against the Muslims, but for the sole reason that LePen wouldn't get into office or gain more votes. The riots will happen again and Sarkozy or the socialist will do what ND (the "conservative" party) do in Greece, and thats turn a blind eye.

I agree with you. That is what they deserve then. Let the Muslims run like animals in France.
