What is your favorite story in Greek Mythology?

a Long Legend - Greek Mythology has been an inspiration to world-wide artists, poets, authors, musicians...

i Love Greek Mythology.

My favorite is Prometheus. that he suffered for the sake of humanity is like a symbolic gemstone of peace. i have my drawing of Prometheus chained in the mountain and eaten by the birds ( some say Ararat( Aghri), some say Qaf ).

One of my favorites is Prometheus for some reason.

From Wikipedia:

Prometheus is a Titan known for his wily intelligence, who stole fire from Zeus and gave it to mortals for their use. He was then punished for his crime by Zeus. His myth has been treated by a number of ancient sources, in which Prometheus is credited with (or blamed for) playing a pivotal role in the early history of humankind.

The Trojan war has to be one of the best stories of any Mythology.

I thought the thread was refering to short stories. Since its not the case I would have to choose probably the most popular the Illyad..

Except the Trojan War was proved to be reality, not Mythology. Unless you are talking about the Mythology surrounding the event? But Troy was real, a Hellenic city state on the Asia Minor coast.

I would have to say the my favorite Mythology (that I know about) would have to be about Jason and his band of Argonauts, who set out on a quest for the Fleece in order to place Jason rightfully on the throne of Iolcus in Thessaly.

Orpheus and Eurydice is my favorite. And Tithonus (the grasshopper) and Eos is also a good one.

Thats a pretty good one Jason and the Argonauts. I forgot about that one.
