Anything with Papaginopoulo. He was a legend. Old 1950s,60 and 70s movies were the best.

when i was growning up there was an indian video shop near where we lived... my dad used to get the best greek videos there... psalti and the pappa films (the films about naughty pappades) were awesome....


a movie i suggest for people to watch if they appreciate great acting is "there will be blood" with daniel day lewis...

Is there anyone out there of my generation? Did any of you have this experience?

When I was a kid (in the sixties and seventies) our local theatre would should Greek movies every Sunday night. The whole neighborhood (the Greeks) would walk over and watch these films. It truly was a community event and although I love technology and its toys, having such a simple yet rewarding cultural experience still resonates with me today.
