Tyropites
What kind of cheese is in tyropites? Is it kefalotyri? It does not taste like feta cheese.

Feta, graviera, kefalotyri, mizithra and other kinds of chese are being used in tyropites. Depends the kind of the tyropita.

Since there are different kinds of cheeses, do the stores advertise which cheese is inside the tyropites?

I like tyropites too, but not as much as spanakopita.

To be honest I never bought a frozen tyropita from a store before. When I was living with my parents my mother was buying sometimes, but I use to pick pizza when I am in front of the freezers in the store :D. I guess that the package mentions the cheese used.

Ellinas, you live in Greece and you talk about frozen tyropites?! I have never seen one, all those I saw were fresh from the Greek zacharoplastio.
