Introduction n a Favour to Ask

Hello All,

My name is Andrew Christou and I am new to this forum and these boards. My papa had a great love and deep heritage in Greece but during the Balkans his parents were seperated and he was sent over to Canada so I have little first hand knowledge of Greece but the stories and my interest has only grown since I was younger. With his passing I am trying to not only emerge myself more fully in my Family but begin to pick up the nuances of both verbal and written Greek but I am not a linguistics major and it is not my forte so it will take some time.

In the meantime, I was lookin for the translation or closest conceptual grasp; if anyone could spare a moment.

The phrase I require translated is "In Blood We Trust"

I have had it translated as

1. Αποτελέσματα αναζήτησης για
2. μέσα αίμα εμείs θεματοφύλακας
3. Στο αίμα εμπιστευόμαστε

I had it properly done once but unfortunetly lost the paper which it was written upon.

The 3rd phrase is correct. Another way to phrase it that sounds more correct in Greek would be "Εμπιστευόμαστε το αίμα" (We trust the blood).

The 1st phrase you posted means "search results for" and the 2nd doesn't make sense.

First of all welcome to the forum mr. Andrew Christou.
Omg! You have the same surname with the principal of my highschool. Its creepy... Boo.. lol

And as for the 'In Blood We Trust', (to be honest I have never heard that before) but I think Ellinas explained everything, the correct translation is the third one.
The first two don't make sense anyway.

It's not a specific quote, more a twist on the typical "In God We Trust" or the more slang "In Money We Trust"
