The people of Serbia have every right to set up their own government however they see fit, but I personally don't see any advantage to having a monarch.

Hereditary political power is dangerous, and if the monarch has no real power, then they are just a costly figurehead.

Costly?,why? Does a king eat more than a president? Does the presidential elections every 4 years cost less than a very small yearly sum of money for the King of one's country?

Can a president be blessed by the church,for his 4 year mandat? Can a president say that he was elected by the hole nation,or just 50% or more?

* Kingdom of the Netherlands
* Kingdom of Norway
* Kingdom of Spain
* Kingdom of Sweden
* United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
* State of the Vatican City

Thing about monarchies is that even if the King is the best leader in the history of mankind, it only takes one heir to literally royally screw things up. On the flip side, it seems that some 'western' democracies could easily elect equally as incompetant policticians as well. Good question posed here.

Of course, it is much easier to get rid of an incompetant politician than a bad monarch.
You just vote them out at the next election.
