| Re: Your favorite non Greek civilization? Feudal Japan. The Bushido code, the discipline and the violence appeal to my martial arts background. I guess I lean that way after dealing with Asian instructors for over 20 years. In a lot of ways they remind me of the Romans: a rich culture that borrowed heavily from someone else (the Chinese) and put their own stamp on it. |
