«Επικίνδυνο» χαρακτήρισε ο πρόεδρος της ΝΔ Αντώνης Σαμαράς, το νομοσχέδιο για τους μετανάστες, με αφορμή τη συζήτηση στην Ολομέλεια της Βουλής, ενώ ο υπουργός Εσωτερικών Γιάννης Ραγκούσης έκανε λόγω για «διαστρέβλωση των διατάξεων του νομοσχεδίου από πλευράς Σαμαρά».
Ο κ. Σαμαράς είπε ότι το νομοσχέδιο «ανοίγει τον δρόμο για μαζικές πολιτογραφήσεις δεκάδων χιλιάδων μεταναστών». Παράλληλα, κατηγόρησε την κυβέρνηση ότι επιχειρεί να αλλοιώσει το εκλογικό σώμα στις επερχόμενων δημοτικές εκλογές, ενώ δεσμεύτηκε να καταργήσει τον νόμο, όταν η ΝΔ γίνει κυβέρνηση.
Απαντώντας ο υπουργός Εσωτερικών Γιάννης Ραγκούσης τόνισε πως «για μια ακόμα φορά ο κ. Σαμαράς δεν απέφυγε τον πειρασμό να προχωρήσει σε διαστρέβλωση και παραποίηση των διατάξεων του νομοσχεδίου. Αποκορύφωμα η έωλη και αστήρικτη εξαγγελία του για κατάργηση του».
Ο κ. Ραγκούσης απέρριψε τις αιτιάσεις της ΝΔ και του ΛΑ.Ο.Σ. για κίνδυνο νόθευσης του αποτελέσματος των δημοτικών εκλογών, τονίζοντας ότι ακόμα κι αν όλοι οι νόμιμοι μετανάστες ζητήσουν να συμμετάσχουν, θα είναι λίγες δεκάδες χιλιάδες διασκορπισμένοι σε όλη την εθνική επικράτεια, που σημαίνει ότι δεν θα ξεπεράσουν το 1% σε κάθε νομό.

2. Im not sure I understand the last line. Votes from legal migrants will only mean a few thousand people???? Try a few hundred thousand.

They mean that the immigrant vote will be spread out all over the country making their votes mean less to the vote for each MP. It's all BS because they know as well as all Greeks that the majority of immigrants are in Athens, put a Muslim MP for candidate in any Athens prefecture and watch him/her get elected. I don't know how the voting goes but it seems to me like migrants can be bussed by the party itself to a specific polling station to vote for a particular person. And we all know that ND and PASOK are not ashamed of staging Turkish MPs, what would be difference if they are illegal immigrants that have become legal in the past 1-2 years whenever the next election might be?

your right it is crap - the migrants will form a significant majority in their electorates and polticians will pander to them. They will bring in more to consolidate their support base and the areas of migrants will get bigger and bigger.

Wait till they start calling for Sharia law to be incorporated into the Greek legal system, or start building mosques over Greek buildings of hostorical significance.
