I am hopeless but we must not stop. Hagia Sophia built as the church and it must be turned back into a church. It is not reality? Who cares? It must be turned into a church for Sundays at least. | Beautiful picture Dimi and welcome aboard. I agree Agia Sofia should be opened and running as a church. No questions asked. |

The Turkish tourist industry has benefited greatly from Greek historical sites, and that is one reason why it should be treated as church rather than "just a site." |

If this was a mosque, all hell would be breaking loose. If this was the Vatican under Iran's control, a billion Catholics would be in the streets. Turkey can do the right thing and give Hagia Sofia back; it would benefit their EU application and bring millions of tourist dollars to Constantinople as Orthodox Christians from around the world made a pilgrimage. If the Vatican can have hundreds of thousands of worshippers on religious holidays why couldn't Hagia Sofia. The spinoff would add tons of foreign cash to Turkey's coffers.
To our Turkish neighbors, do it for the right reasons or do it for money, just do it. |

Greece holds out on the so called 'TRNC' hoping that Turkey's desire for EU will be enough for them to drop claims for a separate state.
Turkey are hot heads and the only way Agia Sofia will be ours again is in hostile confrontation with Turkey. |

Αλλά οι πολιτικοί μας.... μην πώ τι κάνουν. |
