![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Do you go to church? How many of you can actually say you are faithful follower I know Im definately not. Although I believe in God and ect the last time I actually went to church was at my daughter christening and before that during the Epitafio in Easter. Its a bad thing to be honest as Greek Christians we should all go to church that is if you are a believer. Last edited by Prokomenos; 11-04-2006 at 05:56 PM. |

| Admins | I am like you. I am a believer but I don't visit the church often. I usually go to church for Christmas, Easter, Weddings etc. On Sundays I've been to church only some times and these were years ago. |

| Greek Queen | I must admit I do the same thing which in all reality it should not matter. If you are a believer you dont need to go to church to prove that. Aslong as its in your heart and spirit that is all that counts. |

| GR Untouchable | I'm a believer, but I go usually about 6-7 times a year, half of the amount is during Holy Week. I used to go a lot when I went to Sunday school, Greek school and when I was an Altar boy. But after I hit 18, its been rare. |

| GR Elite | If it wasn't for my mother (who makes me go on my nameday, Panayias) I'd never go. I should I know. My situation is a little more complicated; I'm married to a practicing Italian Catholic so I have to go with her at Christmas and Easter. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. |

| GR Fanatic | Although I am a believer I dont go to church. The church to me is nothing but a scam now adays. Its all about money so Im definately not going to support a corrupt cause. I could pray to God in the sanctity of my own home. Its a shame but its a fact. |

| GR Untouchable | Re: Do you go to church? Seriously, I think priests should be pleased that there is a full house on major Greek Orthodox holidays, that the church can pay its bills and most importantly, a COMMUNITY is established. Anything more is a bonus. As for the priests, they can always pray for our souls. |
