Overrated islands

Do you think that some of the Greek islands are overrated and overmentioned having as a result the concealment of many other islands with more interest?

I personally think that Mykonos is way too overrated. It is the most known Greek island abroad, while actually it is nothing more than a small island with a few beaches and nightclubs. I leave out that it is full of homosexuals which can be disturbing for some people and dangerous for the young boys.

What do you think?

Mykonos is also known as the party island of Greece. Its better that tourists go their and stay away from out other islands. This way they wont pollute them.

Mykonos has turned into a digusting tourist spot as well as I forget the name of it. But those foreigners have no respect for nothing especially the English.

Ill be very open and honest. Ive been to Mykonos and I had a blast. I went in 2002. Yes there is a more exposed enviornment for Gays, but there on there own side of the island. For example theres paradise beach and super paradise, super paradise is really gay, so I didnt go. (im straight and I like women)

Now the island isnt all that pretty and yes there is a lot of tourism, a lot of beautiful women and a party that is out of control. The party doesntt stop all day all night, drinking and more drinking. Again the island is Mediterrenian with beautiful beaches and nice paralies, but nothing compared to other islands. As for the guys and the girls, there are plenty of Greek women and men ready to mingle from all parts of the world. They are more of Italian tourists than anything else in Mykonos.

I strongly recomend paradise beach and club space, it gets no better. Ive met Israely women, bolivian, italian, New Jersey Greek, Astoria Greek Girls, Brooklyn Greek Girls, Floridians, Girls from boston etc...........

Believe me pay a visit and then let me know

On more thing. They tend to attract more movie stars and people of status. The world is a lil backwards , the odd balls tend to attract people, look at NY

I agree with this. I don't imply that the other islands must advertised more to tourists, I just mention that Mykonos is way too overrated at the foreign world.

Rhodes is a cool place very pretty Island, Rhodes town is cool Faliraki is happening. Theres an old rhodes (ancient). Nothing dirty. But there is a lot of Eglessi there. There ok, tourist just like me LOL

I was surprised to hear something that negative from him about Rhodes. Lots of sun, beaches women and history in that island, theres got to the appeal.

With the English, well they pump money into the economy, its their problem that they're drinking themselves into revulsions. I can imagine what the Greeks think of them when they sell them all that overpriced alcohol. In the end the islanders are the smart ones.

Once the lowlife Eurotrash leave, they'll be back to their pub hangout, just with fog rather then sun.
