Hydra is my favorite island. The furry cats of hydra are a sightseeing of their own.

I would mention three islands in no particular order:

1) Cyprus - because of the enormous variety of scenery.

2) Crete- I am drawn to this place like a magnet and the Cretan people themselves, with their trance-like music, have a lot to do with it.

3)Lesbos- So unspoilt, so welcoming but shhh... keep it a secret!

Strange that my choices are three of the largest islands in the Greek world. Perhaps I will fall in love with Evia too, but have only been there for a day, so I haven't seen enough of the place yet.

I haven't been to that many but I recall Rhodes being fascinating. I really liked that medieval town there.

I would say IKARIA because thats where from parents are from.
