Clubs of Athens

Great info Ellinas this summer I plan on staying in Athens for a week atleast. So this list definately come in handy.

These are the clubs where the top singers are performing so the prices are a bit high as you understand. A visit to these clubs is great, but a few people have the capability to visit them at a frequent basis :D.

If you want to know something more specific about one of them tell me and I'll inform you about it (which stars are singing there, prices etc.).

I went to club Romeo in 1994. The sickest skilado I have been to( I dont know if its still like that). Its a club paraliaka close to gyfada somewere in between Faliro and Glyfada.

Well they put part of the dance floor on fire(with poured whisky)As long as you paid you can break anything. I broke a few tables too many bottles and all types of plates. I even got stitches in there. You can call me a Thamona ( a person who is a regular in the bouzoukia)

GReat time good party I was 17 and loving it. Oh yes the womwn in there were smokin hot and ready for action, what a good time......

Ive been to Bo ,Poseidonia, Rex, Asteria. Athens has a good nightlife. I love it

i live in the uk & plan to visit greece to see ploutarchos at kentro athinon and maybe 1 more live act. where is the best place to stay that is walking distance from this and other clubs? many thanks - achilleas

Achilleas I would stay somewere Paraliaka close to Faliro or something.
Your close but far enough to get some rest after a night out of drinking

Firstly, welcome to the forum Achilleas.

If I am not mistaken Kentro Athinon is located at the fork where Petrou Ralli streets meets Pireos Avenue. I don't know what hotels are located in the nearby area, but. Have a look at these links:

Yes, it is at the center, I think somewhere near the borders with Egaleo or Tavros.

They are many clubs along Pireos avenue besides Kentro Athinon like Athinon Arena, Akti Pireos, Enastron and Plato. Clubs in the very central I can think of are Rex and Athene. Most of the big clubs are not in very central Athens. A lot of them are located along these 4 avenues: Pireos, Sygrou, Iera Odos, Poseidonos.

I understand your concern to find clubs in a walking distance from your hotel since you have no car and there is no efficient public transportation in Athens after midnight. The other solution is to use taxis.
