These police forces are called "MAT" and they are supposed to be responsible for the repression of riots, violent protests, stadium fights etc. They don't carry guns - they carry clubs, shields, smoke producers and crackers.

Even if they had guns, they would not use them because it is against the orders of the government. I always mention how the "anarchists" have the protection of the government. Yesterday a guard of the Aegean Ministry shot in the air to oust some "anarchists" and he is close to losing his job now.

In the reports there have been injuries, but no killings. If there were killings then the government would have no excuse to protect them. Or will they??
