Re: Ancient Ruins in Greece

The temple in Sounio is peculiar to me in that when I looked at the pictures, it seemed as if there would be not much to see since there are only a few columns remaining. When I was at the site, it looked breathtaking, with all the Mediterranean sea around it. Boy, was there a lot of wind!

I did not visit many places in Greece but it was the most beautiful one to me.

You live in Sounio, Nikolas?

I would just like to add that it was there, standing next to the sparkling white columns of the temple, under the blue sky and with the open sea as far as I could see, that I understood why the Ancient Greeks could think all that they thought.
