MOSCOW. June 2 (Interfax) - Russia and Greece are considering the possibility of joint investments in industrial and energy projects in third countries, Russian Agriculture Minister and Co-chairman of the Joint Commission for the Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation Alexei Gordeyev said at the opening of a Russian-Greek business forum.
"Reciprocal investments and intensive cooperation are the priorities of Russia-Greek relations. It is possible to act together on third markets and take part in the construction and modernization of industrial and energy facilities," he said.
Greek companies may take part in the construction of Olympic sites in Sochi, Gordeyev said.
It is important to change the structure of Russian exports to Greece, he noted. So far, about 80% of Russian exports are raw materials and energy resources.
Trade between Russia and Greece increases annually by 40%, and the trade surplus of Russia exceeds $2 billion, the minister said. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |
