Thousands of people marched through Athens Thursday as part of a 24-hour nationwide strike to protest further austerity measures by the embattled government.
The strike began at midnight and caused all government-run institutions -- including schools, airports, trams, subways, and most buses -- to close down.....

I agree.
Although I sympathize with some of the strikers, I can't say I agree with them. Greece has been heading in the wrong direction for some time now, the time has come to pay the piper.
Lets hope this will make Greece healthier and more competitive.

Yeah, right on. I sympathize with all hard working Greeks. The Greeks in the bloated public service sector can kiss my ass. 3/4 of them don't do squat and are actually costing the country millions while all they really do is increase the red tape.
