American M830A1

For the people who cant understand what kind of ammo is the DM63 , is based on mechanic power (dynamic+kinetic), is a very hard "pin" which penetrates the tank armour and turn the unlucky tank personnel into uncooked burger.....

BMP-3M is what we bought from russia shown on the Auriani paper?
Greek army uses older versions of bmp . They are extremely fast .
If the 3M is a new type, which includes anti-tank rocket and somekind of extra armor, then im gonna say that yes thats a good one

Re: Modern Greek Army

Greece To Launch Frigate Program
By PERICLES N. ZORZOVILIS, ATHENS

Greece will launch an ambitious naval shipbuilding program by spending more than 3 billion euros ($3.6 billion) over the next five years.
The bulk of the money — some 2.8 billion euros through 2017 — will go to build about six frigates. The exact number and budget will be outlined in the five-year procurement plan to be approved by the end of April.
“We’re not going to buy second-hand ships anymore,” said Vice Adm. Dimitrios Gousis, chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff. “We have to create and sustain the in-country infrastructure and to do the long-term planning in such a way that it will be possible to renew the fleet in an organized way.”
A committee established by the Hellenic Navy General Staff Operations Branch will draft the frigates’ basic operational and technical requirements by the end of March, whereupon a committee from the General Staff Armaments Directorate will begin to work out the details, Gousis said.
He declined to elaborate on the operational and technical characteristics of the new frigates, but emphasized that they will be able to perform anti-air, anti-submarine, anti-surface and intelligence-surveillance-reconnaissance missions in a saturated environment, and to face multiple air, surface and underwater threats.
Gousis said the Navy is thinking about the hull and supporting systems — the platform — separately from its weapons and sensors suite.
“We’re looking for a weapon system which will satisfy our operational requirements, and a platform which has a mature design,” he said. “We have decided to avoid a customized design; such a design led to the cancellation of the previous corvette program due to uncontrolled costs.”
The Navy also wants to upgrade its four MEKO-200HN frigates, which are an average of 10 years old, for about 200 million euros.
Three were built at Hellenic Shipyards, now owned by the Thyssen Marine Group.
Gousis said an Operations Branch committee expects to finish drafting the basic operational and technical requirements by the end of March, whereupon an Armaments Directorate committee will draft the operational and performance specifications.
He said he expects the upgrade program to be launched within 12 months for delivery by 2013.

Gousis said the service is especially keen to improve its technology in these areas:
• C4ISR, including the exploitation of space-based systems.
• Electronic warfare.
• Unmanned aerial vehicles, which are under study at the joint level,
• Intelligent munitions with great range and precision.
• Weapons and fire direction systems.
• Torpedo countermeasures,
• Mine detection and neutralization.
• Stealthy technologies.
• Low-frequency active sonars for littoral areas.
