Lets not compare nuclear powers like France and England and isreal to are militaries,by the time we mobilize they will have nuke us all ready, so their stonger.

When we discuss about the militaries we have to be on the same page

Lets forget about GDP of are countries and find out how much each nation spends on military harware a year

According to Greek military magazines greece spend about 3 billion euros a year on weapons how about Turkey?i will to some research about israel

According to information going around israel spends about 7 billion euros a year on weapons including another 2 billion donate from America. They spend more then both Greece and Turkey

We will compare all three military we will begin from airforce

Only 3 th generation fighter will be consired because the rest of are planes will be retired

Turkey has 30 fighters more then Greece.Greece is fighter are more advance.if we consire Greece airdefences we can conclude that The greek airforce has the advantage in case of war

Angelo, let me tell you first hand in regards to turkish navy that they dont know the difference between shit & clay! my brother is an officer in the Hellenic ,and give you an example what morrons they are when our ships along with theirs by pass each other in nato exercises our sailors give them the finger whist they give us the wave.. p.s their flag seems to make the best shiner for our G.P.S (BOOTS)..

I Totally agree with you bro,if a war would breakout now are navy will eat them alive.

But the Turks are moving very fast to modernize their Navy,by 2015 they will have a kick ass Navy.

On May 29 2006, off Crete, the Hellenic Navy performed acceptance test firings of its MBDA MM40 Block 2 SSMs. These firings were also acceptance tests for its two new, Super Vita-type FAC(M)s, HS Rousen (P-67) and HS Daniolos (P-68), as each fired one missile against HS Nearchos (D-219), a decommissioned C.F. Adams-class DDG. The missile shot by HS Rousen ran a 64 km straight course, while that from HS Daniolos, ran a 44 km dog-leg course. Also taking part were a Sikorsky S-70B Aegean Hawk helicopter, side number ÐÍ 60, which fired a Hellfire II air-to-surface missile and HS Triton (S-112), a Type 209/1100 submarine, which fired a SST-4 torpedo.
