Maybe because the Greeks are so much better at keeping it underground, take for example, google names like ; Mike Tsalickis, Kevin Pappas, and also Kevin Pappas on You Tube and you will find a documentary on Greek Underworld, my great-grandfather was involved out of Boston, George Marcus Romanos, if you search hard enough you can find that his son William or Billy Romanos was indicted for running gambling halls.
Like in the Wire, Greeks are much more embedded and work along with governments, such as the case with Mike Tsalickis and his association with CIA , and the Wire if you noticed everything had to do with boats and ports, the Greeks run the waterways, the Italians have the riskier job at running the streets,

You mean the Wire which was in Philadelphia? That was probably one of the best Wire series.

The show "The Wire" takes place in Baltimore, not Philadelphia.
