That doesn't surprise me. I was visiting a company in Austin and an employee told me that in the morning the janitor accidentally flew the Texas flag upside down. Within minutes cars starting to drive off the highway to the company to complain.

A court battle over a Greek flag painted on the garage door of soccer fan Theo-dore
Antonopoulos is over. The Pierrefonds resident will not appeal a Quebec Superior Court
ruling in late August that concluded the Pierrefonds-Roxboro borough has the right to
prohibit his garage redecoration. Antonopoulos pulled out his brushes to celebrate a Greek
soccer victory in 2004. His garage door is now brown. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |

I have only been to Canada several times, but it is my opinion (from an American standpoint) that Canadians as a whole lack a cohesive national identity. I do not understand why they would be so offended by a Greek flag. But those kinds of rules are nothing new to me. In my state, many towns require someone to go before the public and get approval to change the color of his/her house. |

It is quit ridiculous if you ask me. |
