Anarchists in Greece

These anarchists are real troulbe makers from what I hear in Greece.

Here are some articles but his one is good though they fired a gun at them.

Some 30 people attacked a building that houses a local ultra-right youth organization in central Athens, causing minor material damage, but were shot at with semiautomatic hunting rifles by someone unidentified, with two men slightly injured. Wearing crash helmets and hoods, anarchists threw Molotov cocktails and rocks at the office building.
Since the beginning of November, a spate of attacks have been launched with homemade bombs or firebombs by local anarchists, who usually flee away with motorcycles.
The Greek police, who have been boasting of obtaining precious security experience from last year's Athens Olympic Games, have not found any clues about the attackers.

Here is another one.

A group not known to police claimed responsibility for two early morning arson attacks – on a Finnish diplomat's car and an office of the ruling New Democracy party – in which nobody was injured. A man claiming to be from a group called "Anti-State Justice" notified an Athens television station that the organization had conducted the attacks, which resulted in damage to buildings and several cars. The first attack took place in Mets, near the city center, when a gas canister device exploded under an apartment block where seven cars, including the diplomat's, were burnt. Finland's ambassador to Greece, Ole Norrback, said he believed the blast which hit the diplomat's car was not targeting Finland or its representatives, "but was rather a coincidence." Just over an hour later, a similar homemade device went off outside the entrance to an ND office in Kypseli, near central Athens. The party office was housed in the ground floor of an apartment block but none of the homes in the building was affected by the fire that broke out. The group said the attacks were in support of three suspected anarchists who were arrested in July on su****ion of having attacked cops and stolen their equipment .

Nothing but dirtbags if you ask me.

Re: Anarchists in Greece

The so-called "anarchists" of Greece are guided by extra-governmental organizations and centers. They are some Greeks who are just followers of the anarchist ideology, but the ones who cause the vandalisms are puppets of para-governmental people. That's why police officers are just looking at them when they make the vandalism, and even if they arrest one of them for the eyes of the people, they release him later.

They act at least once a week at the two big cities of Greece and they burn banks, shops and cars. They also write anti-national signs in the walls of old buildings and in statues.

What the politicians and the extra-governmentals want to achieve, is to terrorize the people and make them accept the laws etc. the government wants to promote. For example: a main purpose of the government right now is to make Greece globalised (what they call a multi-cultural society in the West). The "anarchists" are threatening the people who don't accept this, trying to impose "multi-culturalism" to them in a fascist way (by terrorizing, burning their properties etc.)

The whole thing has gone too far the last years since the private and public properties destroyed are more and more and the ones who pay for the public ones are us, all the citizents, not the drug addicts who are destroying while following the orders of the extra-governmentals. Greeks are just starting being annoyed with this situation. This makes me optimistic that this situation will end soon by the people's will, as it happened with many other situations in Greek history.

A very similar thing situation occured in the US in the 1960s. Instead of "anarchists" they had "gangbangers" The government would give out "job training and anti-poverty" grants to these groups to "combat poverty" but it was all really used to create violence and fear to integrate neighborhoods, all under the assumption of mult-culturism.

It looks like Central Athens is the target.

Hopefully it won't get as bad and widespread as that.

It looks like Central Athens is the target of globalization. Especially with the chaos in the central part of the city, the symbolic center.

Re: Anarchists in Greece

Yesterday they destroyed 7 banks in Athens and 2 in Thessaloniki. This followed last week's incidents when they burned a police station and 4 police cars.

Yesterday they attacked a police station in the East suburbs of Athens with fuel bombs. No major damages.

That's why I said I am optimistic that the facts on this issue will change in the near future.

You probably heard about the incident of Amarynthos town in Euboea, where according to the media four Greek highschool boys raped a Bulgarian girl. "Anarchists" from Athens and Thessaloniki went there with coaches to "protest against xenophobia". They started screaming and writing in the walls of houses and statues, wanting to terrorize the inhabitants of the town. This had as an example a fierce attack with stones, crowbars and sticks by more than 100 inhabitants of Amarynthos against the "anarchists". With the help of the "police", the "anarchists" escaped from Amarynthos with minor injuries. Such incidents will follow in the future if this situation goes on.

Since the situation is serious, I will be posting any incidents the "anarchists" are involved from now on in this thread.
