Hundreds of Millions of Euros have been donated so far. We will rebuild, let's all help out.

Seeing how many people are corresponding is something that makes us optimistic after all this disaster.

As Hellenic said so far they are many millions of euros donated. Banks, companies, the Church, organizations, simple people are making donations in a daily basis. Farmers from North Greece are also willing to help by sending animals etc. to help the farmers of Peloponnesus reestablish their business.

I saw some people of the destroyed areas talking on TV, and I was impressed with their optimism. They say they are looking forward. They aren't willing to leave their homeland and start moving to the cities, they want to stay there rebuild their villages, replant their fields and reestablish their business. And with all this help they are going to accomplish it. Solidarity makes miracles in such cases - Greeks united managed to rebuild the country in a short time after many disasters, like the wars Greece experienced on the late century. This is what it's going to happen now too in Peloponnesus. People have the willpower and the mood to rebuild!

Of course the forests can't come back in a few years, but now we have serious hopes that the villages will be rebuilt and llife there will be normal again in some years.

Ellinas, disasters happen, natural or man-made. The important thing is to help each other to rebuild and look forward to the future. From what you said, there is great hope for the Greek nation.
