Kefalonia, Quake 5.1
Like the fire there wasn't enough....

An earthquake, measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale was recorded on the island of Kefalonia at 09:29 am. The epicenter was located at a short distance from the island’s west coast according to Thessaloniki Aristoteleio University Geophysics Lab. No post-quakes have been recorded while seismologist, Manolis Skordilis said that quakes of this strength are usual in the Ionian islands, included in the highest earthquake risk regions at global level.

I just now realized this was about a real earthquake and not a video game. The 5.1 in the title I thought it was some game! I'll repeat what everyone else asked, what the hell is going on over there?

No, earthquakes of this intensity aren't enough to cause serious damage. They can possibly cause crivices in some old and uninhabited buildings possibly, but nothing more. But still it is something that can terrorize the people of these areas and create social turmoil, especially this moment. One of the earthquakes took place at Pyrgos which is the capital of Elia, the area being detroyed mostly by the fires.
