Question about starting a Greek website.

I am starting a simple website using html code. I am writing it right now in English until I can figure out how to do it in Greek. The problem is that when I try to write it in Greek, it is dispayed as gibberish. How do I make a website, using html, written in Greek?

Thanks. I haven't read them entirely yet, but it kind of looks like you have to enter some kind of code for every single Greek letter. I was looking for maybe a set of tags where I could enclose an entire body of Greek text, like entire sentences, paragraphs, etc. Maybe there is a set of tags in one the links you provided, I don't know, I'll read them entirely to see. Also, my Greek isn't that great. How would I say "This site is currently under construction" in Greek?

Actually, I do speak Greek. Ksero tis piresoteres leksis, alla oxi oles. And as far as computer lingo goes, I don't know Greek computer lingo yet, since it's all pretty new stuff. Also, it's been years since I've been to Greece until this past summer. I am planning on visiting Greece more often and hope to learn Greek a little better. Thanks for the translation. . You don't need any previous experience using html. Using html is actually pretty easy. It really is.

When I first typed "how to make a webpage" into google, I thought that I would find some kind of program/software that would take me through it step by step. I always knew that alot of people used html for creating webpages and that html was a programming language for creating webpages. I didn't think I could do until I came across this site which teaches you how to create a webpage step-by-step using html. It is actually really easy.

Hmmm. Maybe I'll start a new thread on this topic and how to create a webpage.
